TradeDrift is a trading journal and analytics platform by Meridian Quant Labs. It exists because a P&L number is not a feedback loop.
Most traders review their performance from memory. They remember the trade that hurt and the trade that felt clever, and they build next month out of those two data points. The trades that actually moved the equity curve — the ordinary ones, the repeated small mistakes — are the ones memory drops first.
TradeDrift turns a trading history into something measurable: win rate by setup, expectancy, R-multiples, drawdown, and the behavioural tags that correlate with each. Every module reads the same executions through the same arithmetic, so a figure cannot say one thing on the dashboard and another in a report.
Built for Indian traders first
TradeDrift is built for the way trading actually works in India: NSE equity, index and stock F&O, and crypto perpetuals held side by side in one account, with lot sizes, multipliers and charges handled per instrument class. Pricing is in rupees, the first live broker sync is Delta Exchange India, and every other broker is covered by CSV import or manual entry.
Backtesting is on the roadmap
A journal tells you what a strategy did. Backtesting tells you what it would have done. The plan is to replay a strategy over historical data through the same deterministic engine that scores live trades, so the two numbers are actually comparable. It is not built yet and there is no date for it — the page says so wherever it appears.
What TradeDrift is not
TradeDrift is not a broker, a trading platform, an investment adviser, a signal service or a portfolio manager. It does not place orders, hold client funds, or tell anyone what to buy. Meridian Quant Labs is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser or research analyst.
Where we are
The product is in development, with an expected launch of 1 January 2027. TradeDrift has not launched. No accounts are being charged and no payments are being processed yet. Every figure in the product previews across this site is illustrative sample data, not anyone's trading results.
How we build
- Deterministic first. Statistics are computed in exact arithmetic in the backend before anything interprets them.
- One record, one arithmetic. Every module reads the same executions, so figures cannot disagree with each other.
- Your data leaves whenever you want. Export everything on any plan, including free.
- No credentials we do not need. Imports use files and read-only API keys — never a broker password.
